Las Vegas Shooting Rampage Happens Near PoolAndSpa.com
The tragic Las Vegas shooting rampage that happened on Sunday June 8, occurred right down the road from many of the PoolAndSpa.com offices & warehouse.
“You become numb to a lot of these mass shootings that you see on TV all the time – until one happens in your own neighborhood” says one PoolAndSpa.com employee who wishes to remain anonymous.
Another reports that “I was just in that Walmart on Saturday. I have shopped there for over 10 years. You just never think something like this would happen in that heavily trafficked shopping center in broad daylight on a Sunday afternoon.”
A warehouse worker says “I was in that Pet Smart store earlier in the week. I know every inch of that entire shopping center, including the Walmart and the CiCi’s pizza place. It just never even entered my mind that something like this could happen here. Nellis Blvd is such a high density shopping area here in East Vegas, and normally there are cops all over the place. I always felt safe there.”
However, as we have seen all too often lately, there really are no safe places – when there are nut-jobs around. Evidently the two shooters were some sort of Neo-Nazi, drug addicted, anti-government, faux-militia types, and they had reportedly made numerous comments to neighbors that they were going to go out and “kill cops”, but sadly no one took them seriously.
These photos are provided by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and show Officer Alyn Beck and Officer Igor Soldo, the two officers shot and killed.
The last time a Las Vegas Metro police officer was shot and died in the line of duty was in 2006. Our prayers go out to all the families of all those involved in this tragic event.
